Leader of the Crime Prevention Association and his associates have been convicted in Kaposvár for distributing drugs on the southern shore of Lake Balaton for years – the Somogy County Attorney General’s Office informed MTI on Monday.
According to the first-instance, non-final decision, the court had imposed a three-year prison sentence and a fine on the leader of the association for drug trafficking and other crimes.
The tribunal sentenced two of the first degree defendants’ four accomplices to six years and two and a half years in prison, suspended for one and a half years and suspended for three years. Another person has also been sentenced to two years’ probation.
The men often used drugs, the leader regularly bought marijuana and amphetamines from a man living in Budapest, and he used the association’s car to deliver the drugs.
The prosecutor’s office appealed for aggravation against all defendants except the man sentenced to probation, so the proceedings continue at the Pécs Judgment Board.
