On May 2nd, 2021, at 1:40 p.m., the district commissioners checked a local man in a car in Zalaszentgrót, Felsőaranyod street. It was suspected that the driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol before starting to drive, which was also confirmed by the alcohol tester because it indicated a positive value.
The driver was taken to the Zalaszentgrót Medical Office for further testing, and based on the measurement results, he was interrogated as a suspect during the procedure. The staff of the Keszthely Police Headquarters carried out the necessary procedural steps in the case of criminal proceedings for a well-founded suspicion of a criminal offense while driving while intoxicated and handed over the documents to the competent prosecutor’s office.
