Man From Enying Arrested for Attempted Human Trafficking and Forced Labor

Police arrested a 37-year-old man from Enying for attempted human trafficking and forced labor. The man lured a woman with a promise of marriage and then tried to force her into prostitution, the Fejér County Police Headquarters announced on police.hu on Friday.

According to the announcement, a woman from Siklós filed a complaint with the police on Monday. After the promise of marriage, the woman traveled to Enying, where, against her will, the man forced her to have intercourse with him and tried to get her to work as a prostitute for him. They added: the man assaulted the woman several times, threatened her with a knife, and also took her jewelry and mobile phone from her. The police arrested the man, who was otherwise under criminal supervision for other crimes. After he was taken into custody, his arrest was initiated, which was ordered by the Székesfehérvár District Court on Friday.
